Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Investigations

When concerns arise regarding a child’s welfare, the court may appoint a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) to investigate family dynamics. GALs may examine allegations of abuse or neglect, substance abuse, mental health concerns, or issues related to a child’s medical condition or gender-identity transition.
